R56 Traded my MCS for a Fiat500
Maybe. But they don't sell them here yet. I'd have to drive one first. But I prefer the looks of a MINI over the Fiat hands down.
I kinda like the styling too, and will be interested in seeing what the Abarth brings when they finally announce it Stateside but the thing that kills me is the back seat. It's just not usable and the 500 might as well be a 2-seater unlike the MINI where you can at least fit an adult in the back.
I have to disagree, we fit 4 people ranging from 5'4 to 5'11 in the fiat. The backs of the seats are hollow so your knees dont get crushed its pretty room headwise and actually i remember looking up the space specifics and they are pretty close.

Thank you kind sir, I was originally buying a JCW and then the laurel was in the showroom. I asked the sales man about it and when he said 100 hatchies 100 converts and 100 clubmans wee released... I took it home.
Funny story though i was telling some buddies at a local car meet about how its 1 out of 100 and sure enough as im telling the story the only other one i have seen in the dc/metro area drove down the road... i was like "son of a ...." I ended up taking it for a little over 34k. Expensive for just a looks package but i dig the rarity.

add another one, hopefully as soon as Abarth gets here.. I am simply getting tired of quirks and unknown reactions my 2011 MCS is making all the time.. Love the rid of MCS.. and the look but I am ready to move on.
I'm actually in Springfield and am out in sterling every now and then.
To each their own i suppose. Personally the character of the mini as well as its history and quirkiness make it infinitely more appealing to me. But i can definitely see the market for a fiat 500. Im really curious as to how much power the states-side abarth will make (whether we'll see the regular abarth or the esse esse variant).
Bigprfed22, your Laurel is stunning.

As a former owner of two Fiat's and a Lancia, if you don't like quirks and unknown reactions you'd be better off with a Honda.
I get the same with my PW/CR blend. I know of only a handful in the States so far, and only one where I live.

i didnt mean mini good, but it was sharp
