Just getting it started...

 

I finally found it...Thought that someone would have started an "Official" forum for this fantastic color.

Now let's get it rolling (every pun intended)

"Smokey" joined "Blue" in the garage on 10/13/11 and is now past the break-in period. Options and mods are in my signature. The stripe is burgundy with metalic pin stripes.

I had a great shop to work with and they had a lot of samples. They also helped with the width and spacing. The Highclass gray has a little purple to it so it is tough to match.

It is a great color

 

I think what I love the most is the slight purple tint. I adored the Purple Haze Metallic color & this new Gray excites me! Definitely a good choice!

 

I thought about naming my car "Hendrix"

But Smokey is more subtle than that

 

Here's one that's currently sitting on the showroom floor at MINI of Fairfield County. Pictures really don't do the color justice and I really liked it.

Actually it has a "purple haze" to it...

 

+1 to the club! (How many of us are there?) And what's the story on this color...only produced for first half of 2012? Anybody know what the production stats are?

Welcome to the club. From what I can tell this was a very short lived color. The last time I looked they are know longer offering it. So there could be. Very few of us.

 

Just looking to see if there are any more Highclass Gray owners out there...
