So I had to borrow my dads new Silverado and trailer to take my quad out of town with some friends so I left him my Cooper just in case he needed/wanted to drive it even though his wife has a new Traverse. But of course they wanted to take my car since they have never been in it. Took it out of town to Muncie, IN. About a 1.5/hr round trip ride. He LOVED it lol. He said people kept waving at him while he was in town when he went to the grocery store lol. But he had the tinted windows rolled up so everyone thought it was me. He had talked to me for over an hour about the car lol. And that's as long as he was even in it lol. He said it took him forever to figure out how to uses all the gadgets and he was fearful for my car every time he was road kill not trying to scrape it up with the Cooper lol.

All in all, he loved it and it made me love my car just that much more lol.

 

Cool! So, when is he getting his own MINI?

 

Cool story! Did you actually leave the AP installed? It'd be funny if he went to test drive another one and wondered why the heck it was so "slow".

And I doubt he would get a MINI unless it were electric.
And the AP was still installed. He never drove it over 3K rpm's though he said haha. He wouldn't ever abuse my car. They loved it though. So who knows. Maybe he wil get one.

 

No need to apologize for all the lol's, that let us know how much he enjoyed it. And you never know, he might decide he wants one. After all, a lot of us "mature" drivers have MINIs
