R56 Farewell, MINI...
Farewell, MINI...
Well, after 2.5 years I said bye to my MINI today.
As excited as I am about the new car, it was sad to leave behind the MINI as it has been a really great car for the past few years. I even had my last "MINI wave" from a BRG R56 a few miles down the road from the dealership on my way there.

Replaced it with a 335xi coupe:

It's been fun... I'll stop by from time to time, and I'm also looking forward to checking out the "twins" and the R56 replacement over the next few years.

And you think the MINI is more reliable than a BMW? Just a few problems that come to mind from my R56 or my father's old one... carbon buildup, frozen throttle, fuel pump issues and the perpetual death rattle. I don't think the R56 would have been any better in the long run.
didn't have the stock parts anymore, so couldn't take them off.
