That is a bit weird. I never considered adding the JCW package to an S, so I never noticed that it wasn't available in Spice Orange. Really strange they can do it for a factory JCW, but now for the add on package.
In other news, I've had a couple of people randomly tell me "that's a pretty color".

My S Clubman may as well be a JCW but I can no longer drive a manual. I configured it as close as I could come to a JCW with an automatic (minus the Brembo's and suspension). Now that I have it they are going to release JCW's with automatics and with my luck with Spice Orange as well. Things are different with the Hard Tops, Spice Orange was released to Clubman's just before I ordered mine in April.

Yeah Spice Orange wasn't even on my radar as a possible color till I saw one in the showroom. When mine arrived someone saw mine and bought one in that color as well.
I have gotten way more compliments since tinting the windows though.
Picture update time.... I have blacked out pretty much all of the chrome except for the headlights.

Were they not offered for the hard top?
The headlights being chrome does look bad-*** with everything else blacked out.

They did offer them, but I didn't feel like paying more for less. They are essentially the same.... just not chromed black plastic. On principal I couldn't pay for that.

My spice orange
This is my first MINI, Hutchacallit. Getting huge complements on the color. Don't see too many Spice Orange.

New Spice Orange Mini Owner
Purchased my first Mini a few weeks ago. A 2011 -- I had them change the black wheels ( now don't groan!!) to fancy chrome and remove the stripes!!!knew it just had to be Spice Orange and I call her Spice Girl!! And what a delight to find there is actually a Club for Spice Orange owners. I love the badge I see online which I think Capt Mike designed. I would like to try to find someone who could replicate it for a grille decal if I could get an ok from Mike to pursue this..at the least an iron on badge for a jacket or shirt!!!

How long was your first drive? How long did it take for you to actually exit the car?
As you stated in the other thread, I'm planning on getting Pumpkinhead tinted also.
The S/O and white looks awesome and the white vipers is a very cool addition.

Congrats! For what it's worth - me neither! I originally ordered my car in BRG, and changed at the last possible second to the Spice - very, very glad that I did too. If you are going to tint your windows, please be sure to post the follow up photo here - I'm betting that it will look awesome with those black wheels.

Just ordered mine today. Spice Orange with black roof and black wheels. Opted for the pepper white dash and door bezels, automatic transmission and premium package with sunroof and climate control. MA says mid to late December - Merry Christmas to me...
Oh, and yes, the wife is loving her week-old Bayswater too...

My new ride and first Mini
After checking out this forum and your Spice Orange pics, I went and ordered one!Have had it for around 5 weeks now from new and have had a huge smile on my face ever since!
Car is a petrol Cooper,
Chilli pack, Grey Lounge Leather seats, full bluetooth, chrome trim packs inside and out, interior light pack, in fact fairly well loaded.
I just thought the white roof caps and stripes set of the Spice orange better than black?
I just love the colour.
