MLPearson79 is a NAM moderator who initiated many of the color threads, a non-SO owner who probably has no interest.

Hello fellow Spice Orange fanatics!!

My new 2012 Spice Orange mini hardtop was completed today!! So happy birthday to my new baby!!!

So excited!! My first mini!! In the best color!

I am hoping he makes the February 6th ship! I cannot wait much longer

Congrats and happy birthday! You're right, it is the best color. I get compliments on it all the time often from perfect strangers in a parking lot! Hope the rest of your wait goes quickly (but I know it won't).

 

I just bought a 2012 Spice Orange MCS and will pick it up on Tuesday. I looked through this entire thread and didn't see one Spice Orange with a color matched top. Is this something new for 2012?

No, you can get a color matched roof. In fact, I almost did even though I ordered it with a black roof. The MA made a mistake in the order and by the time I caught it, the car was already in production so he had to place a second order with the black roof. The one with the color matched roof is out there somewhere. You didn't buy your car from MINI of Irvine in CA, did you? If so, that was it!

 

I picked up my SO MCS last Tuesday. I will get some pictures when I get it cleaned up.

Looks like I found the right place! I will be celebrating my first anniversary with my 2011 SO/B MCS in a few weeks...I've loved all 19,000 miles logged, and plan to keep motoring all over the US in the coming years. I'm not sure what the numbers mean, but 11 is my lucky number.

 

Hello all, I just got back from ordering my 2012 cooper S in spice orange [roof and all] should be here in 6 or so weeks!

 

Ah Ha! The Full Monty Spice Orange! Congrats on your new MINI order! The next six weeks will drag by, but it will be worth the wait.

 

Yeah, It only took me 3 weeks to decide on the color,and another few weeks for roof and stripes or not, I cant wait, today is day one and I got my tracking number!!!!!!

I think 2011 was the first year.

 

I got some nice pictures yesterday. I just got all my JCW stuff on.

 

I ordered my first MINI a couple weeks ago and it should be going into production any day. I've wanted to get once since 2003, and I finally splurged. I went with the Spice Orange/Black configuration and cannot wait to get behind the wheel and do some motoring.

Spice Orange JCW, very nice car! I was wondering how a contrasting hood scoop would look, and after seeing your car, I'm set on getting one myself.

 

One of the nicest looking SO/B hardtops around, I would say.
