My Spice Orange with Silver Roof Cooper S CLUBMAN was "born" on April 14.
Now I am patiently waiting for it

 

I bought a spice orange, S-model hardtop this weekend. Since it was a demo-model, I didn't have the long, painful wait. They said they could stripe it for me, so I was browsing the 'net looking for images of different mini stripes when I stumbled on this thread. It appears we are in a pretty exclusive club. You can put me down as #18 because I love that M&M's car.

I looked for this thread and didn't find it, now it pops up. We'll be joining the club soon, our SO/B JCW Hardtop is on order and due for production this week.

The interior option on the JCW are a little limited, so we ended up with a very restrained interior. Black Cloth/Leather seats, piano black dash, and a satellite grey colour line (along with the anthracite headliner as standard). I was thinking of going with something a little more jazzy, but the available options (like red) wouldn't blend well with the orange.

Coupe looks good, have you been racking up some miles to get it out of that break-in period?

 

Sitting at 912 miles right now. Went down to Kentucky yesterday. Trip computer showed 38 MPG for that 300 mile round trip.

When I priced mine out they wouldn't let me select cooper works in spice orange....

 

When was that? JCWs have been available in Spice Orange ever since I've been seriously looking.

Hello all! Just wanted to introduce myself - my SO/W 6M Justa should be arriving mid July in SoCal. I'm still working on names for her (him?)...not too many with a white top from what I can tell on this board so I'll be looking forward to posting some pics when she arrives!

 

Appearently when I checked I only bothered to check it with the John Cooper Works package.... not he actual john cooper works and just assumed.... Which makes that even more confusing

 

Spice Orange a White sounds like a Creamsicle to me, although some might have favored the Dreamsicle.

I have see the Spice Orange paired with White, in my opinion it looks awesome! Great choice.

One problem though, the sun's shining and the top is still up. I hope you wasted no time getting that openometer racking up some hours!

 

Welcome to the SO/W splinter group! Yep, there are fewer of us with the white roof, but either way you can't go wrong...

 

That is a bit weird. I never considered adding the JCW package to an S, so I never noticed that it wasn't available in Spice Orange. Really strange they can do it for a factory JCW, but now for the add on package.

In other news, I've had a couple of people randomly tell me "that's a pretty color".
