Now if they'll just include the JCW suspension as standard...
Cleaned Grayson up today (not that I really let him get dirty) and took some new pics with a camera (versus my cell phone). Posted them to my gallery. Pics are only as good as the photographer who takes them!
For those wondering WHY I put on a front plate: the dealer had already installed the bracket (i.e., drilled the holes). Yes, I could have just taken the bracket off but that still would have left the two holes. So since it had to stay, thought I would go decorative.

Our 2012 MCS Convertible in Eclipse Gray is in production as we speak and should be done 7/12/11 and hopefully at the dealership by end of July or beginning of August. The Eclipse Gray is such a classy color and I can't wait to drive it!! Once it gets here, I'll be sure to post photos.
Ours is configured as follows: Leather Punch Carbon Black w/Color Line Carbon Black, 17" Black Star Bullets, Premium, Cold Weather, Sports & Technology Pkgs & Adaptive Xenons.

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing those pics. I get LOTS of compliments on the Eclipse Gray color. Just accumulated enough miles this weekend to finally complete the break-in period (1200 miles). Really looking forward to pushing it a little harder now to see what it can really do! It's a really fun car to drive and does literally put on a smile on your face!
Normally prefer a very "simplistic and plain" look, but the black jack accessories on the outside mirrors, rearview mirror, and side scuttles look really good!
The girl I'm dating likes the car but isn't wild on the color, wishes it was a normal lighter silver, like Dark Silver.
The MINI will stay but the girl has gotta go.
Love the Eclipse Grey, I liked it on the showroom floor and I've only liked it more as time goes on.

Roundel I know what you mean when I went to the MINI dealership for the first time I saw mine and instantly knew I wanted it I never touched or drove another one I told my wife as soon as I pulled in, I haven't even got out of my old car told her that's the one while we were parking.

I don't know what it is about this color, it had the same affect on me. We were just stopping in to look at colors and when I saw mine on the showroom floor I just kept going back to it again and again after each car I looked at. Decided right then that I wasn't going home without it. It does have a hint of green in it, which I personally like.
Yea I like it alot, I've been told also it has a brown tint to it. I love it, it's different and that's the reason I got a MINI to begin with
Just put down a deposit for a 2012 JCW in Eclipse Grey with Chili Red roof.
