I saw some green when it was against chrome, but I have since blacked out most of it and now it looks more grey.

How did you black out the chrome grille surround & headlight rings? The first thing I want to do to my Eclipse Gray MCS (when it arrives!) is to black out most of the chrome.

Grill came black already with JCW Aero Kit, painted the light rings.

Future Eclipse Grey Owner!
Hey everyone!
It looks like I'm gonna join the Official Eclipse Grey Owners Club when I get an Eclipse Grey/Black MCS Bayswater in a few months!
As I mentioned in the Official Bayswater Owners Club thread, I'm really excited about this MINI, as it contains perks I don't have in my current one, but, it's also bittersweet to let my Camden go. I loved my Camden in every way and would've probably bought it at the end of my lease had it not been in bad wreck 2 years ago.
One thing I'm still uncertain about is if I'll miss the brighter contrast that White Silver/Black offers, versus the Eclipse Grey/Black combo of my new Bayswater... So, will I?
But I'm sure I'll learn to love my EG Basywater just as much as my WS Camden, over time!

Is that the M7 RAM 2 or the Vortex scoop? Looks great.
Anyways, I just picked up my first MINI, this 2011 MCS a few days ago. I plan on de-chroming it with black, like above. Also maybe a light tint on the taillights.. they are a bit ugly right now.
