kinda an odd request but, any eclipse grey minis on red rims?

thinking of black/color matching all the chrome, and a maybe a few subtle red accents - "S", brake ducts, maybe mirror covers, and some red wheels

closest pic i can find is of a grey GP2: the Rse05s are definitely on the short list but any other are welcome

The problem isn't that the Mini has too much going on, Eclipse Grey has undertones of green, which is literally the opposite color of red. So in a way it's like putting red wheels on a BRG Mini.

Plus, on the topic of the GP2, I think it's a special non-metallic grey that they eventually turned into Thunder Grey for the F56. Again, because the green undertones of Eclipse Grey clash with the red accents.

EDIT: Yup, GP2 is Thunder Grey, but is slightly metallic.

I like the old Gp1 Thunder Blue Metallic and the new Thunder Gray, as well as the Moonwalk .

I have this 2013 MCS eclipse gray for 8 weeks now...used to own a 2010 R56 in CRed. N18 vs N14 is like day and night....huuuuge difference! But still miss the red one...body color wise, it's a beauty!

H&R springs completed the look. Happy with them but I didn't think 1.5 inches was that low.

I think so. Isn't 15mm the most you can run with the stock lug bolts?
That should bring out the wheels enough for a nice flush look I think.

My wheels have a +22 offset and they sit like that naturally with no spacers for those wondering.

I always run the lengthen bolts with the kit, like we have . Dont try stock lugs on wider spacers . I like to have full thread engagement for safety/

Full kits with wheel bolts here:

15mm all the way around on my R58 JCW
