I've been lurking on NAM, trying to decide on the color for my new Mini. This thread won me over to EG. Thanks, everyone! The next 8-10 weeks are going to be very sloooooooow.

What made you go with Passport MINI vs. the dealer in Annapolis, MD? Did you find Passport to be a better dealer?

Thank you. Both dealers were excellent. I was a bit price-sensitive, and even more so picky about what options I had to have, as I had several rare must-haves but didn't want to pay for dumb options like alarm and PDC. If I ordered my Mini it probably would have been from Annapolis, since they were more willing to deal, but as it turns out Passport had a 5500-mile MINI executive car that was never titled and qualified for the new-car March incentives. Eclipse grey was a third color choice but the options list is great (I wish it had Punch leather and a rear fog but...) and I saved a ton of cash.

So that's it. Passport has a great reputation here. Sterling laughed at the idea of taking money off the MSRP...I guess that's why they aren't selling many cars now.
