Introducing Myself...

This is newest edition to my random stable of cars I owned. My "handle" has been all over various European and Japanese car forums.

At first, the MINI was a car I hated but the more and more I drove it, I found myself justifying to myself why I think this car is so cool!

As one of the partners with Attic2Zoo, we have been involved the motorsports scene in many various ways. With Mini Cooper, we did a couple of collaboration ideas between street culture brand Crooks & Castles x ABF x MINI as we helped design apparel and design pieces for the "Ride & Drive" Programs. After test driving a couple of them, just decided recently to pull the trigger on one. At first, the main intentions was to keep it a commuter car.

But then one trip to Gruppe-S changed that...

1 week of ownership, I had to "customize" it to make it more suitable for me...

Can't wait for track days !

MegaMini Spec Custom Springs
Volk Racing TE37 Bronze 17x8 +41
Hankook Tires
Wheelmate Stud Conversion from 14x1.5 to 12x1.5
Project Kics R40 Neo Chro Lugnuts
HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve
Invidia Q300 Exhaust
K&N Intake System

Those wheelmate studs look a lot better than the tsw studs. I may try them out. The tsw studs made it impossible to remove the wheels without removing the studs too. Do you experience this at all with these studs? Very nice car!

25 ft/lb, blue loctite (not the super permanent red ones), and when you tighten the lug nuts on, it counter sinks and puts the studs in place. I never had issues with the wheelmate conversions, used them on my M3 and 911 prior to this car. Thanks !

Love the wheels, did your hks kit come with the cold side hard pipe? Im also looking to delete that rediculous noise maker that is routed from the cold charge pipe to the firewall. how is yours set up.
if possible could you send a pic of your BOV set up installed.
and wher you bought your kit.

bought the HKS kit from Gruppe-S.com

It does come with the cold hard pipe for that side. It is a plug n play and the instructions come with the HKS kit. I just figured the people that made the BOV would make the best plug n play kit as they done countless Subaru and Mitsubishi Turbo motor applications for their SSQV blow off valve

Hello JSyang,

Nice wheel set-up. What size tires are you running and do you have any issues with rubbing? Did you have to add more camber?
I actually have a similar setup on order, but can't decide what tires to run. I would appreciate the help.
Thank you,
