I have been wanting a Mini Cooper for sometime now. I am a BMW purist and have high regard for what the Mini Cooper is. I found a Laser Blue 2010 S at Carmax in Maryland with 1200 miles on it. I had the car shipped to Roseville where I took delivery. I have had the car for about a week and absolutely love it. I added a JCW CF scoop, K&N Intake kit, OZ Superturismo GT wheels and replacement speakers up front. Koni FSD's with H&R springs are going in on Monday. I have had a lot of BMW's including my 550HP E46M3, this car is just as fun!

Congrats on the new car. My 3rd mini was a 2008 Laser Blue. I love that color, looks like you're on the fast track to modding it already.

I like the black wheels with the black roof. My only suggestion is to have the upper and lower chrome grills, headlight trim and taillight trim painted in the laser blue. (and black out the belt moulding)

For some reason, the laser blues with the black roofs look REALLY great with the blue trim.

You already have a hot car, just helping moddin' your car for you...lol.

Congrats! the black wheels look very nice and blend in well with the black roof.

 

Great color choice. Love the black wheels too, I would've gone with them on mine other than it makes it a bit of a man's car (yes, that's right, a very manly MINI!) and I'm a chick. Black really makes the color a deep, rich blue but doesn't take away from the "pop" the bright blue gives. And 1200mi in a year or less is excellent!

Thanks everyone.. I'm not sure whether I'll run the JCW bodykit of just simply color coordinate all the black trim. I live within driving distance of Lyle's vinyls so I might have all my chrome blacked out too. So, turn all the black blue and all the chrome black... got it?

I'm McLovin' the black wheels too... what's wrong with naming my car after an organ donor? At least he can take a hit like a man!
