Timo Makinen in the Finland rally 1967 - he drove the last 12km like this, flat out and flying in the air over the "yumps", sliding the car sideways so he could see where he was going out the side window. And - he didn't just finish, he was the overall winner in his red and white Mini Cooper S.
A girl's car? I don't think so...
what's so inherently great about a "boy's" car? it's not like your MINIs are truly dragging along great big phalluses. and if they were, i'm sure they'd be at least a couple seconds slower off the line than a MINI that was female or a eunuch.
back on topic: if you're enamored of a body color roof, go for it. i picked black for my PW simply because it harmonized with my interior.
