How Do I know If my Mini Cooper S 2010 has 184HP and not 175HP?

The MINI COOPER S has upgraded the engine to 184 by adding the valvetronic system. But how do i know if it has 184HP?

The engine, interior/exteriors? What will tell me that it's 184hp?

also does the mini jcw has an upgraded 222HP or sth? not 211HP

I don't think any of the upgraded engines have came to the US yet.

 

Don't stress over 9 ponies, it isn't enough to worry about or even feel.

pretty sure its not added until the 2011 models are out.

 

Well first I can almost guarantee you don't have valvetronic on your MINI. Also dyno is the only way you are going to find out.

I agree that you're not going to feel 9HP in this car... Before getting a tune, my car had about 10 more HP than stock and I really couldn't tell the difference between that and stock.

Still, knowing it was there would be nice! Maybe more efficient too.

Grab 184 horses, tether them to the car and see who pulls who.

Also that pic def has the same motor as the Countryman

 

Current is 172hp, not 175...

US JCW is at 208hp. Uprated numbers for 2011 have not been announced...
