havn't posted in a while due to my mini being embedded in a tree lask week. finally got the full estimate. 19,000
. I am very lucky that I came out mostly unscathed. anybody got a stock r53 6 speed with low miles and descent paint? lookin for a reliable DD capable car? Thanks

no pics because i don't own a digital camera but suffice it to say the entire front end needed replacing. the unibody was folded up at the a pillar. the passenger wheel was pushed all the way back into the body and the drivers front side went forward. bent subframe, fried wiring harness, broken motor mounts, gouged engine cradle mainframe and a bunch of other bits. never had a car with airbags but im guessin it could have kept me from going **** up
The car did EXACTLY what it was supposed to.
It's amazing how good a job these cars do of saving our ***** in extreme deceleration events.

yup, the mini folded like tinfoil, aborbed most of the impact, and gave me the chance to see another sunrise. I loved the car but I immediately thought of my family when I got out of the car and saw the destruction
