Calling all photochoppers.....request

I have a request for some photoshoping. I plan on replacing the door handles and I am going to have them painted. I also plan on replacing the hood scope with the CF hood scope and painting it also. If anyone could please do both the handle in midnight blue metallic and white like the roof it would be awesome. Thank you in advance.

The pictures are really way too small to get a lot of detail in the PS, but I tried. I'd go with white for the handles, but not the scoop, IMO, I hate when the scoops stick out from the rest of the car.

Why get a CF scoop if you are going to paint it?? Seems like a waste of money to me.

I just think if you're getting CF you should leave it CF, at least that's what I would do.

Agreed. Its not like theres any real weight savings with the carbon one anyway. and FYI I have heard of CF scoops melting too.

I've heard those who have gone CF haven't had a problem with meltage and weight is negligible in this part

I don't know, I don't think I'd waste a perfectly good CF scoop by painting it. A heatshield sounds like a good idea either way. Especially since you'll be paying for a CF scoop and paying to have it painted. If it melts, you'd be wasting a ton of cash. I'd want to protect my investment. But again, it's your car and your $$.

Painting CF is not wasting it. I just don't think that it would go with anything on my car. I have white and blue and I like that. The problem with getting the heatshield is I just don't see anything I like. Plus it is something that I will eventually do later down the road when I get a downpipe.

Hey man, its your car and your $$. In my opinion carbon fiber is meant to be seen, not painted. I agree, it wouldn't match your car at all, but I just think there's better options for ya that would save you money. If you are already going to get a heatshield for your DP then why not just get it now so your scoop doesn't melt? I looked at prices and you could get a heatshield, stock scoop, and have it painted for almost the same price you can get a CF scoop and have it painted. Just trying to help you get your monies worth and save some loot for something else.

My $0.02

It would look decent with those rims you have. And even better if you got CF mirror caps.

I agree. A CF scoop would look out of place. Although I don't really like it white either. Visually, it is too busy. Too much going on there. Looks better with just the stripes. Have the scoop painted blue to match the car.

I just want a permenant fix to a problem. A heatshield and going CF won't be a permenant fix for it, it will still have the possibility of melting. I am getting it at the same time with the door handles and having both painted at the same time because the guy that is doing it for me will do it for cheaper then if I were to bring them in seperately. Lat thing on leaving exposed CF I have never trusted it for the fact that it might crack or the clearcoat fails. This is just what I want to do I want it do right the first time so I am not going back and having to fix it over and over.
