Don't drive it, have it Flat Bedded to your Dealer. Even though it's a Yellow Warning I'd be cautious about driving it, you never know when the Red Warning will come on.

Good Luck and let us know how things turn out!!

It's free. And you won't have to worry about your safety.

Good luck!

Most likely an abs sensor. The mechanical parts of your brakes will function correctly, just the electronic assists won't be there. No safety issues with driving it to the dealer.

ABS Sensor Bad

Mine are all on as well, came on right after my warranty ended. Your ABS sensor has gone bad and it's a $2200+ repair if you are not under warranty. I am furious that my less than 4 year old car needs this amount of $ spent on it only a few thousand miles outside of the factory warranty. Am trying to take it up with MINI, but we all know how that is. Anyone have any advice?

David,

Good luck. Plead your case. Maybe you can get the ears of the Mini Rep for your area. But most likely in the end you will be reaching for your checkbook. Its tough when something goes bad right after warenty expires whether its the problem you are having or an A/C compressor or whatever.

Good luck!

Thanks Finner, appreciate it. Am pleading my case. But I won't be paying to fix it out my wallet, I will sell the car as is minus a few grand for someone else to deal. If MINI won't step up on this issue, I won't be buying another one of their cars. This is my 2nd one and I expect more than 50K miles out of a car before major expenses hit my wallet.

if it's just your sensor that needs replacing you don't need $2200. just buy the sensor and have it installed. you need to do some research before going to the dealer to have it fixed. they only want to squeeze some money out of you. i'm having mine replaced along with some other tune ups. no big deal!!! good luck...
