Found a Shoe!

I moved the passenger seat all the way back and what do I find? A woman's shoe stuck under the seat! It doesn't belong to any of my friends and it doesn't belong to me either... Could it have been under there since it was built? The shoe was made in China but then everything everywhere is now made in China. I've owned my car a year already and never saw it all this time. Very strange...

That's part of the MINI adventure kit. When you get your box of goodies you get the other shoe so you have a complete pair!!

Didn't do me any good as I am a guy.

If you could only find the other one you'd have a sweet pair of driving shoes.

This a strange one, are there any nights you can't remember?

I think you need to go to the factory in Oxford with it and look for "Cinderella".

The shoe is standard equipment for second generation MINI's. It is to be used when one of the shoes you are wearing gets a hole in the sole walking to the repair shop after your first breakdown. Has your car spent the night at the dealer since you've bought it? I wonder if there was some extracurricular activity after the shop closed. If you hadn't named your car yet, how about Cinderella?

This thread should be nominated for Weirdest thread on NAM.

Maybe a female salesperson took a little spin before handing over the keys.
(Be glad it was just a shoe -- or you'd have had some 'splainin' to do ... )

As long as you don't start finding body parts, I guess you are OK

It is strange... The last time it was out of my possession was last Saturday, took it in for its annual maintenance but they only had it for about 3 hours; guess that's long enough for some hanky panky while the car's on the lift .

At the cost of Women's Shoes nowadays I'd say the other shoe would be seeking you out wanting it's pair back. Or maybe the wearer was trying to drop you a *hint*...if there's an SO involved I wouldn't bother trying to display it in your garage!!

First thing I did was look under the driver's seat for the other shoe but nothing there...

Romantic thoughts over. OK... maybe it's because I have really good foot hygiene... but I see really dirty toe prints on that shoe! And those aren't the casual -I just walked without shoes on all day-I'll throw on my flip flop- kind of shoes.

So... the body that was in your MINI must have been dirrrrrrrty.

I was thinking about how a person could leave without one shoe and not notice. The only thing I can think of (other than a body being moved in your car) is if a lady had a big bag (like a beach bag) with clothes and/or shoes sitting on the floor that tipped and fell out and under the seat. That kind of thing happens often. (We had an apple that rolled under our seat and didn't find it for a long time. ) Anyway, if that lady lost her shoe in your car she'd probably never think to look for it under your seat.

Have you had any passengers? Maybe someone test drove it before you? Service guy has a foot fetish?

You never vacuum? I would think you would have seen that when you vacuum your carpet.

See the 'funny harmless noise' thread

You most likely hit the infinite improbability drive button rather than the sport button.

Some small people got lucky in the backseats. Which is an accomplishment. As long as you don't find any "stains" it's cool.

Two guys are getting undressed in a locker room when one guy looks over at the other guy and notices he's wearing woman's panties. Unable to resist, he asks "So Bill, how long have you been wearing woman's underwear?"

Bill says, "Ever since my wife found a pair under the seat of my car."

All kidding aside, there are charities that accept single shoes to help out amputees. Like http://www.amputee-coalition.org/index.html. I'm sure there are others.
