I just walked outside and checked my car cover versus a regular tan multilayer cover next to my car -- and mine is not even warm to the touch...the other one is hot!!!

Bought an '09 Clubman in Oct. of '08 without knowing that the sunroof shade was perforated instead of being solid. My first mod to the clubbie was to have the windows tinted, & when i took it local tint guy i asked him for suggestions on the sunroof, he suggested i just have him apply two layers of tint to it. It was the best $20.00 I ever spent. It has been well over a year since he applied the tint & the sunroof is now a joy to use, without frying my skull. I have had absolutely no problems with it being foggy or peeling. Wish i could say the same about the trim around the sunroor/headliner, the rattling is driving me crazy, & in my case it's a damn short drive!

but isn't there a lot radiant heat still coming from the glass?
