Got my Konig Feathers on yesterday. That is the best bang for the buck mod ever. They look great. Now that weird JCW side scuttle matches something on the car. Some other gentleman said if you drive 30 feet you can tell the difference. I agree 100%. The sensation is the car has lower air pressure (because the wheels are not bouncing around as much from the lighter weight), yet you feel the car pull away from a stop easier, quicker. It rides a little quieter too. I think the track is slightly wider now too. I drove straight home, cursing the tire shop, expecting the tire pressure to be 28 But it was 41 all the way around. I am still on run flats too. I am hoping this will extend suspension life and also the clutch, definitely can't hurt! I'll get some photos up soon.

Update: I took each wheel off this evening to paint the hubs black. One of the wheels is so well balanced that no weight is required on my 20K mile old Continental run flats. I have never seen that before. At first I thought they forgot to do it or it threw a weight but then I remembered I went 100MPH today and it was perfectly smooth. The finish feels like teflon on these too. I was going to wax them but I don't think they need it. I'll get some good pics tomorrow

Full vs Half Hood Clearbra for HB MCS

Just got my 2011 Horizon Blue MCS and couldn't be happier. I was just wondering if anyone with horizon blue has had a clear bra installed and if so, did they go with full vs half hood? It's a tough call... expense of full hood vs a possible "line" where the bra ends with the half. Please weigh in.

Separately, I know other threads mention putting bonnet stripes on and whether to go over or under the clear bra. What's your take?

I had a half bonnet clear bra put on Mozart last week. I am having Aesthetic Creations put on bonnet stripes at the Dragon, and he said he prefers to put the stripes over the clearbra, so that is what I'm doing.

Just took delivery of my 2011 Horizon Blue Cooper (replacing the 08 Nightfire Red). 2011 has the standard leatherette seats. Trying to decide whether to swap my sport seats from the 08 before I sell it....let someone else enjoy the leatherette. Trying to decide what color for leather. Graphite interior but polar beige headliner and pillars. Maybe two-tone seats? Any advice?

Wow, I can't believe you're getting rid of your Nightfire Red. Such a great color and rare, too!
Why don't you just put some Wet Okole seat covers on the seats?

The sport seats are just more comfortable to me. I had ordered the cloth on the Nightfire because our southern summers are so HOT. I would think the Wet Okole covers might not help that situation...aren't they also a vinyl or neoprene? Probably have to be either cloth or leather...something that breathes.

Here's some photos from the other day when I detailed her. I need to figure out what gray I have so I can order the oem driving light panel with switch.

Count me in the HB MINI club. We've had the MINI a little over a year. Detailed it a few weeks back, but don't have any photos to post yet.

Hey REHATLGA, How are the PIAA Xtreme Whites? Are they worth the cost? I've had them before but I was replacing one every 8 to 12 months.

The PIAA Xtreme Whites do improve the headlight coverage. They are a little brighter and the light is more white. They have been on the car now for more than a year.

I think that the PIAA Xtremes are probably worth it. I bought them from Tire Rack and paid about $77 for the pair. I will likely get another pair soon to have on hand.

I have heard that the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras are pretty good. I know that you can get them for $27 a piece at AutoZone.
