Since Horizon Blue and Hyper Blue won't be offered in the same year, I guess we can assume HB=Horizon Blue if 2009+ and Hyper Blue if 2008-... or someone can just come up with a new abbrev

Here's a Horizon Blue MINI from the Chicago Auto Show taken by Kishku at flickr.com. We've seen other photos of this same car (mini2.com?). Still want to see littleman's Clubman!!

FWIW I called the dealer in MA that has the HB or HZB cars and he said it looks just like the sample domes. Not as gray as some of the internet pictures make it look to be.

Thanks Pinky, nice to see a photo of a non-convertible so we can see what a black roof looks like w/ HB. BTW, littleone just posted photos of his new Clubman in HB with a silver roof.

Just picked up mine on Saturday! The cars been through rain/snow/salt the last 24 hours, and the pics still turned out great...

I'm a little partial, but I think this is the best Mini color ever!

More to come
Parker

I think it should be HZB just for the simple fact that on the MINI abbreviation cheat sheet sticky, there are no redundancies even between R50/52/53 and R56 colors.

That way, there's absolutely no mix ups regarding which color we're talking about.

I agree w/ AKIndi... This occurred before with Cosmos and Cool Blue. Cosmos is CB, Cool Blue is CoB. Maybe Horizon Blue should be HzB.

Here's the Abbreviation Page -- which needs an update:

Sorry for the late reply FLYINACE. The parking garage is off Rt. 17, but its in Virginia. Mass transit here in Hampton Roads means taking the bus...

Well if you follow the abbreviation rule to the letter, Horizon Blue would be HoB. HzB sounds better, though. I think the HzB owners should vote on this.

Just ordered our "HZB" Mini. Really looked nice at the Cleveland Auto Show as well as in the dealers showroom with sun shining in. We once owned a Hyper Blue 2005. Personally, I like them all!!!! regardless of color. Blue just happens to go with my wife's eyes and is her favorite.
