That's a good idea, it would also solve the problem of some hood scoops melting as well.

The Cooper hood has different height clearance than the MCS/JCW, I believe.
Because of these clearance differences, I'm not sure the Cooper hood would fit the MCS/JCW. On the other hand, "OXYBLUCOOP" says the Cooper D hood is the same as the MCS/JCW, but without the scoop.
He's planning to swap an MCS engine into his Oxygen Blue MC, so I take it he's done his research.
