Check Engine light - new intercooler HELP anyone

OK..just finished installing the new Alta intercooler...install went good and took it out for a test drive...everything was good...ran it pretty hard and when almost home the check engine light came on and I could only just about idle home...Boost tube all look good...any ideas????

First step should be to retrieve the code that made the check engine light come on.

Most Likely just a sensor that needs its connection checked.

id make sure nothing is leaking... make sure your clamps are on right

Yep..first thing I checked and everything is tight as can be. What happened after the install is we took it out for a ride and there is a development with roads and no homes, its where we go to play with the cars.

There is a 360 degree large circle...we did the circle at close to wide open, its a pretty big circle maybe 75' in diameter and all was good until about 3 minutes later....going to buy an OBD reader this morning.

Problem solved...seems like it when we were auto X'ing last night we must have been aroung the G limit and raised a wheel off the ground causing the YAW sensor to think the car rolled. Bought a OBDII and erased the problem. The DTC buttin should be on to avoid this...from what the dealer told me. Anyway problem solved.

so if the computer thinks you might have rolled, it makes you drive real slow

I was thinking if the Mini rolled you could still drive it???
