That's my setup.

On the first gen cars, you could use the visor clip on the headliner - nice and clean. Does this not work on the 2nd gen cars?

I really don't know if first gen are any different. I found one on ebay that is identical to mine. If you could take a look at the listing and see if it is the same as yours; I'd really appreciate it.

I have mine to the right of my mirror so my head doesn't get in the way of signals since I am the only passenger 99% of the time. Remote display unit is to the left of my steering wheel, just below my ScanGuage II.

You're not going to loose much signal left or right of the mirror. I've run a V1 on my motorcycle for years. It sits directly in front of me. The rear antenna still works fine (rear laser would be affected). Radar bounces all over the place. It's not any more sensitive in the car than it is in the same places on my cycle.

Sorry, I missed your post. It appears to be the same but their pic is not the best. That's a good price for that mirror, but it does look like it's seen better days as well. Probably why the pics aren't that good.
