R56 Order Placed Today!
Order Placed Today!
Well, it's official, I'm now part of the club! Ordered a '09 Lightning Blue MC with white roof, mirrors, and bonnet stripes.
Pretty minimal options, just specific to what I wanted/needed:MFSW, Xenons, Mud Flaps, Clear Bra, 6 speed manual, check cloth interior/black interior, Sport seats.
I got in on week 38 production, which is the week of the 15th of this month. Pending any delays, my MA said it should arrive the 2nd-3rd week of October.
It's going to be a looooooooong 6-7 weeks.
Thanks to everyone who provided input on the purchase. Looking forward to being very active in the MINI community!

Congrats bfrance!!
6-7 weeks is a long time, but I would recommend that you start shopping for the little things NOW to help pass the time!!
Like hats, grill badges, decals etc...

I ordered a chili red MCS on 9/5. I'm hoping to get it by the end of october before the whether gets cold here in NJ. I have a truck that's coming off lease in November and I've been riding my Ducati to work most days as I'm almost over on my lease miles.
Thanks for all of the congrats again everyone! Just an update, in case you haven't seen my obsessing in other posts:
It shipped out on a K-Line vessel, (Southern Highway,) from the UK on 9/20/08. Estimated arrival time in the Greensboro, SC port is 10/2!!! So, it looks like I should have "Sir Arthur" here by mid-October!!!!!
The time has went by so fast so far. Now the hard part, as I won't be seeing changes in status for another week and a half or so....

You need either your vehicle production number, or the vin number. Your MA should be able to provide you with this.

There is a lot of great info on tracking to progress of your car listed there!
