i dont think its worth it with sport button on the throttle response is more agressive so your consistintly spooling up your turbo even in situations your not trying to..so your turbo wears out faster

Follow the link above, great mod, excellent information. I added this to my car right after I got it and really enjoy it. Easy to install and very cost effective. Enjoy the mod.

maybe for you, but not me. I can be just as gentle with the throtle as I can be aggressive. I have had mine modded to come on for about a year now, so I'm very much used to it. It also makes heel toe shifting easier, as I don't have to blip the gas very hard to get the results I want. In other words, I don't have to roll my foot as far over to get the gas when I'm on the brakes.

Thanks for the info guys, that's just what I'm looking for. The thing feels really sluggish taking off without the sport button pushed, I know it does not change the performance just the feel,.......well I like the sport feel .
Also it should have no affect on the MPG.

Have any of you guys bought the ready made timer/board thingy and used it or just made your own?

I wish I could leave the sport throttle on and the sport steering off. Steering's OK except in the twistys it's too much work.

Have you considered a throttle re-map like the SprintBooster?

No. Because I'm used to the throttle esp when starting in 1st I use sport all the time (I've stalled without it before). I turn it off when I'm driving twistys because the throttle isn't much of a factor and it steers quicker with less resistance (at least for me).
