Ordered 2009 MCS about 13 days ago.

Hello to all from an expectant 2009 MCS owner.

Hopefully, this will be built among the first 2009s for delivery in Tampa, Fl.

Specs:
Dark Grey with black top.
16" Bridge PRFT
Premium & Convenience PKG
Anthracite Headliner
AT (my wife will be driving the vehicle once in a while!)
Center Arm Rest
Redwood Red leather interior
Xenons.

I originally ordered Punch black leather. Then switched to Lounge black. Seemed like I would be in a sea of black - so finally switched to the Redwood Red.

Anyone have good pictures of the redwood interior?

I'm debating btwn the Carbon Lounge and the Redwood Lounge myself. I need to get to the dealer to see it in person. I've seen soo many different pics of it and it always looks different...

I have been looking at every mini that drives by for a while now and have yet to see the Redwood Lounge. I agree that it is pretty distinct.

Congrats on the order!

Sounds like a nice car, Bob.

Did you order it at Ferman MINI in Palm Harbor? If so, we may have been there at the same time, since I was there most of the day that day, assuming that 13 days ago means two Saturday's ago.

Check out this site. Go to the photo section. It has some good interior shots. The first one is redwood lounge.

Well, I guess I probably didn't see you there, then.

How's your experience been with Ferman, so far?

This will be my first purchase from them for a Mini. It has been a pleasure dealing with them so far.

I have a 2006 Mazda MX-5 (Miata) that was also from the Ferman group- and, the experience with them was excellent .

I had excellent experience with Ferman MINI; Oliver Morris was my MA and he knows MINI's and made it the most comfortable auto buy I ever had!

Preparation of the car was perfect, none of the cosmoline or empty ww tanks etc. that others have mentioned on NAM.

Closing was hassel free with no pressure to buy 'extra's, they had to do an extra tag for me as we were driving home with my 'old' car as well.

Refund check for that service (phoned within three days, when old car was gone) was quickly received.
