Does Ernie look better with or without a mustache?
Just getting opinions... Does Ernie look better with black grill surround or the chrome?
I kind of like the chrome since it matches the rest of the chrome on the car....
But, I like Ernie's meaner look too...
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Mark

Wow, in nearly all things color I would vote black, but chrome's gotta take it on this one. The black interrupts the circles around the headlights, darkens what's already lightened, so it's like they'd be fighting to make themselves noticed.
Definitely chrome.

Well you could just keep it chrome, orrrr, since you already have the black trim to go around the grill, blackout the headlights and doorhandles and all the rest of the chrome

I did actually think of blacking everything else out.... however, the car has a white roof and white mirror caps with white stripes.
Had that all been black, then definitely I would have gone the dark way.
I think black with white on a blue car would look terrible... I may be wrong but.

Wow... I have hope for the world yet. Finally a thread where not everyone is yelling, "black it out!!!".
You kids and your blacking out the chrome...
... cars and chrome go together like Fred and Ginger. Leave it alone !

I think the chrome looks better with the white stripes. The black just sort of looks like it was put there just to be put there.

Chrome. Cool the way it reflects sunlight.

My vote is to paint all the wheel arches to match the rocker panels (body color) and then paint the grill surround to match the body color.

I would normally say black, but looking at those photos I think the chrome works best on your car.

I think it depends on the color of the mini. Based on your color scheme, chrome seems to look better for sure.
