My wife has the MINI Itch!

Hey, there! My wife fell in love with the MINI on Saturday, when I test drove a MINI Cooper S, and she didn't tell me until yesternight.

I was telling her how impatient I am for my PW/B MCSa, and she finally blurted, "I want MY MINI Cooper!" She used to think they were too girly and "fruity," but I guess it got the best of her. Another one turned to the MINI!

She stubborn, and I'm not surprised it took her almost a week to tell me she liked the car I was getting. She wants a Nightfire Red MCa, and I am more than happy to get one for her after mine comes in (sometime in August). I just need to bring it up to her parents (we're only twenty, and they own her car). I'm sure they won't mind... besides, they aren't paying for it!

My fiance had always liked the look of the MINI and thought they were 'cute' but last year when she test drove an 'S' for the first time she was blown away by the whole experience. She was hooked the second she pressed the 'Start' button.

It's a certifiable addiction! NAM is our support group... Welcome to the MINIverse! At least now that she can plan on having her own, she won't steal yours all the time!

I had neglected to tell my wife about the Clubman model when I had convinced her that I needed a MINI Cooper S. She saw one at the dealership when I placed the order for mine

"What's that?"

"Oh, never mind that one, we're getting that kind over there..."

"But the other one looks bigger"

"Yeah, i don't want bigger"

"But I do!"

"Oops, didn't think about that."

So now she wants to get a Clubman for herself :D

Lol, our situation in reverse. Got one for the wife (she'd been wanting one for a long time), then as the months went by and only the occasional chance to drive hers, I just had to have one of my own. I am firmly convinced that MINIs are designed to pair up somehow.

Haha! This is great mate! I let my girlfriend drive me home in the Mini last night (one too many beers for me... Gotta be safe!), and she tore it up down the freeway at nearly 95! She was afraid to push it in the turns though, but either way, she really wants one now. They speak for themselves - just get someone in it, and they'll want one. Cheers!

The first time my wife saw a mini she called it a "clown car".
Now I have to hide my spare key so that my MCS doesn't "disappear". I have the feeling that when her vehicle is paid off, we may be visiting our MA...

A couple of nights ago I took BF out for a long spirited drive to Woodstock - all of the sudden he blurts out "I really did not want to like your car but the little sucker has really grown on me..."

Now he is looking to a Clubman as a possible company car <grin>

HAHA fits the title well though.

You get 5 points for being clever, but -2 for being a little gross

.... so *counting*.......3 points!!!

My wife seems to find a reason to need my car, I really need to find a way to get her one for herself so she stops taking mine!

I hate buying female hygiene products...

Anyway, can't wait! My ALTA Shorty Antenna (4") came in today with a variety of detailing components that I can't wait to try on the MINI! The 4" is just a perfect size, and I can't wait to see what new paint looks like detailed. People always comment how my '92 Protege looks brand new... what can I say? I love a slick ride.
