Congrats from another "old" MINI owner. I too have the PW/PW combo which is apparently the least popular . . . I mean 'most unique' color combo. Happy Motoring!

 

Im a 40 year old kid and am giddy as can be to get into my new MCS. People just dont understand why. Just because I drive an M Roadster doesnt mean I cant appreciate a fine FWD car too!

I loved that Redwood interior when I first looked at a DS/DS MINI at Hendrick... very stylish.

 

wow am i the elder with a 2008 clubman s geesh I hope not... 65 going on 40 just an old body but a young mind... COME u older folks who has the newest mini being the oldest.. only 08 counts...

I have a PW/PW on order as well, although mine is a regular MC, and I ordered mine with the chrome package and the carbon lounge leather.

 

I'm 43, bought 2008 Chili Red MCS a month ago and my family said it's the "mid-life crisis" thing :-) and I don't agree!

 

I'll join in - one happy 59 year old who picked up her MY/W MCSa on the 2nd. Funny how many errands have popped up in our house! Store, hardware, pharmacy and numerous other errands that have to be run!! Love my Maggy!

I took another test ride last night and only wish I could
have tried one with Sports Package...
That is the only thing that makes me nervous..
But if to stiff will add Non Run Flats with little larger Diameter tire
to soften ride..
Here in NJ our roads are getting pretty rough in places..
Even the wife had a big grin when she was driving..
OH My..think I may lose this car at times...
Newly married and have to learn how to share..LOL

Here is a 76 year old whose 74 year old wife rejected a Prius for an MCS. She refuses to drive when I'm in the car, but from her remarks ("Let them look out for me") I assume that she might be an aggressive driver. I find that I'm driving her MCS in preference to my Lexus, and not for the superior gas milage, but for the fun of driving.

 

Almost 62, going on 12 Molly helps with that

 

im 52 and proud to be a MINI owner (although my R53 has had a load of mechanical issues.) So now I'll be 53 when I get R56!

 

OK, I confess, 82 yrs young, 2008 MINI Coopers S, LB, Man.tranny, with JCW, Enkei 16" wheels, GoodYear F-1 tires, and so on. Love the car.

 

I am a 50 yr old about to re-live my childhood! Allways loved to play with Matchbox cars - now I will be driving one!

Maybe we should start an Old Geezer forum!

51 and just got a PW MCS. Love it so far, it was between this and a Miata.
