Mods' wasnt sure if this is the right section, so move if you need to.


Here is my question folks. I pick up my MCS in about a week and half. I am getting the JCW suspension put on.

I told the MA that I was expecting my original suspension when I pick up my car. The suspension will only have 5 miles on it and I want to keep it.

I may sell the parts on ebay or keep them for whatever reason. Its my parts, i paid for it, and knowing dealers they might try to resell it.

My question is what should I expect in the box of parts? I am expecting every part needed if I decided to take the JCW suspension off and put the stock back on. couple missing small bolts or screws is fine, but all the major components.

I am not very mechanically inclined, so the more specific you can get would be appreciated..

Stock struts, springs and sway bars (front and rear)....

Car only has 2 sway bars....

I assume the JCW swaybars come with their own bushings....so you should expect 4 of the original bushings as well for the sways.

No,

4 struts
4 springs

and maybe 1 or 2 sway bars, but I don't think any (certainly not on the gen 1). The stiffer sway bars come with the sport suspension.

 

Very unlikely. It would be too much of a bother for them to try to resell those parts. They would go straight into the trash bin. (Wheels are a different matter).

 

JCW kit includes swaybars now...
