Just finished changing my Mini order

I had placed an order for a 2008 MCS in March for a delivery in the fall due to my current deployment in the evolving country of Iraq. After checkingout the latest news to hit the MINIUSA website concerning the MCS JCW package. I quickly configured my dream Mini and launched it off to the dealership to change my order, hoping that my previous order hadn't committed as of yet. Much to my pleasure I was able to change my order; by the time that I return this fall I will have a nice MCS JCW awaiting my return.

Ah, yes... the deployment prize. My husband got his 05 Elise after his first deployment. We joke that we need a bumper sticker that says "Your tax dollars at work."

Enjoy you MINI and stay safe.

Thanks to all

It is nice knowing that there are those that support the troops out there; it means allot to hear it while deployed. I know that this war is an unpopular one but knowing that people still support the ones on the ground helps us get through the long deployments.

On a lighter note, I am really looking forward to getting home now; knowing that my "Dream Machine" will be awaiting my return.

This country did our vets a great disservice during and after the Vietnam war in confusing the politicians and the troops.

You know this as well as I do... the servicemembers are the instruments of war, not the decision makers.

Glad to see even those who disagree with the current war effort do not hold it against our troops, for the most part.

Again, good luck to you as you deploy !

I think that our country has matured and can finally separate a war from the soldiers. I am completely against the current conflict and the politicians who initiated it (and refuse to end it), but even more in support of the soldiers for the sacrifice and risks they take on everyday. Thank you for supporting our country right or wrong and may you enjoy the Mini soon!
