Hi All,

Just picked up James this morning at 11AM from East Bay Mini in Pleasanton. Had a GREAT time driving him home, starting to get used to the controls now.

Minor complaint. Got a hell of a sunburn on my left arm from fat-arming out the window! All in all, I am in love with this car! Sig has all the details...on to the pics!

Btw, passed many Mini's today...and yet to have my first wave. *sigh*

hey I got a question... do you know how long did James (or other mini) took to get to east bay mini from the distribution center?? I know my mini got out of the port on the 22nd and wanna see how long do I still need to wait before I can go pick him up!

My MA told me that James was put on the truck on the 22nd from the VDC and made it to the dealership most likely Friday. Yesterday was the earliest I could have picked it up. If you have extra items to be installled, that's probably the reason it's taking longer.

Thanks everyone! I could barely sleep last night...and actually dreamed I was driving. Is that obsessive or what?

Yeah, my husband's s2k is a blast to drive. He finally got a chance to pry James's key from my hand yesterday and admited that the mini is just as fun to drive...a lot more torquey (is that a word?) and peppier than he thought.

Avery got in yesterday to EBM and I picked him up today. He left port on Friday I believe so it was a quick trip for him.
