Did you name your R56?

I am just curious if you named your R56 and why you gave it that particular name. Also do you have cusomized licence plates? If so what are they?

At the appropriate time, a MINI chooses its name or the name is revealed to you by unseen powers.

My R53 is Nigel (because it goes to 11). Seems like that name is already well represented in the R56 world though, so my working name for my soon to be built R56 is "He Who Is Not To Be Named".

Current plate is SILV RKT but I may decide to change it for the new guy once it gets here.

My car's name is Puny Parker - it's a Spider-Man reference. My plate is "THWIP" - another Spider-Man reference.

I'm a pretty big Spidey fan, and was fortunate enough to land the role of his voice on the new Saturday Morning show "The Spectacular Spider Man." Aesthetic Creations has made me a custom roof graphic of some art from the show and they'll be installing it on Sunday at AMVIV.

Anyone interested in the show can check out The Official Site

I surely hope you are JOKING??!! After I read your post to my Husband his jaw dropped and a loud GASP was heard. We have two 60+lbs. Mix-Breed Dogs, one is a vacuum cleaner, the other is a licking machine. The licking machine not long ago chewed a 9" square out of a Stress Mat we laid in the bottom of her crate. Luckily no vet visits for her, but she was NOT the favorite any longer.

Our newest Bundle of Joy who is to arrive the 3rd Week of April has already been named. Her name is Molly (See Sig.). I've been thinking about a Plate. GD Goly or Molly45 (since I ordered Molly on my 45th Birthday), still thinking of other possibilities.

No. Zack had it for three days until his stomach was pumped. I even poured a quart of Cod Liver Oil down him without any luck. He smelled like fish for a week.

My new R56

Well I am trying to decide which one. Being a huge Who fan I was considering either Townshend or Moon. Or maybe Nigel or Basil since they are so terribly British. Any suggestions?

My wife and I will pick "Buzz" up on Saturday. He is 2008 MCS, mellow yellow, punched leather, 17" crown spoke, anthracite, piano black, mellow yellow colorline, etc.

Keith was quite proud of being called "Moon the Loon" --- there has to be a car name there.
The Kids are Alright, mate. Look around at album art. Lots of great themes from Amazing Journey, to Quadrophenia, to Tommy, etc.
5:15 jumps to my mind; what lyrics.
"out of my brain on the 5:15..." --- the look on his face in that song as he rides the train.

"Yap Yap" because the car talks all the time. "Beep....boop....beep beep beep. Boop boop....." Not to mention the seatbelt "Gong" and every other warning sound. It's an affectionate name though...
