How many golf bags can you fit in the MINI

as my name implies, I'm a golf nut.. how many ppl & golfbags can you fit in the MINI? can u do 3 ppl & 3 golf bags? I'm guessing 2 ppl up front & 2 golfbags won't be a problem at all

i have to put both rear seats down for my golf bag.....so the limiting factor is getting people in the car.

pretty much 2 ppl...2 bags.
as long as no one is using a tour bag!

Go where I go. They give you the stick, the ball, a miniature pencil and the score slip.

3 and 3 just about fit as long as you are slightly creative.

I have to fold 1/2 the rear seat down to accommodate my bag, the same single side can hold three bags if you stack carefully and in theory the third person could sit in the single rear seat.

I have never tried that, I tend to fold both seats and carry two bags and one passenger.....

...and the windmill hole, at a par 4, is one tricky mother-lover.

And don't forget you can tilt the rear seat forward and lock it more upright on the side you are carrying the 3rd passenger to give you more room in the trunk area.

The very day after I first picked up my MINI, I transported three adult males (including me) and three golf bags 15 miles to the course. Nothing sticking out the windows or the sunroof. Yeah, it was tight but most doable.

I was so tempted to turn onto the nice, wide concrete cart path when I arrived at the course and use it instead of the entry road.

I've just bought a 2008 Cabrio, and I was able to get 2 smallish golf bags and a 3 wheeled Sun Mountain golf cart in the vehicle with the rear seats folded down. I would have been happier with either the 2 golf bags alone or one bag and the cart.

But, that's okay. I don't want to drive my playing partners around too much.

Provided nobody is using cart bags, you can fit 2 people with 2 bags easily and 3 people with 3 bags with a bit of creativity.

That would be so awesome, if i had a cabrio i might just do that

2 and 2 is easy with no problem even a cooler and some over night luggage.

have not tried 3 and 3 but after reading peoples comments, sounds doable.

I use the folding clubs. Doing so allows me to carry four sets in the boot and five in the rear seat.

Is this a trick question? I carry my entire keyboard rig minus the keyboard in my Mini and can carry a passenger. Three large dogs and luggage for a 4 hour trip.

There are almost always has 2 golf bags in mine. Keep the rear seat folded down and 2 carry bags will fit across with enough gear and clothes for a week trip.. Shoe bags, soft sided suitcases, and still enough room left for souvenirs to bring home. Just take the long drivers out of the bag for an improved fit.
