Most Miles

Time for a mileage check and any signficant maintenance/performance issues.

Who's got the most miles on their R56? Mines at 11,000 Km's after 6 months of ownership. Prett much bulletproof except the sunroof will occasionally rattle on bumps.

Mine's 10 months old and has 5300 miles. As to being bulletproof, I have more confidence in aluminum foil.

10,6xx miles in 5 months. Been bulletproof. I think low mileage makes the mini break down. It's like a sewing machine that needs to be in continual daily use to run right

I think crappy quality control and even worse dealer customer care has something to do with it...

6500 miles in almost four months - no problems, performed own first oil change at 5500 miles - I get about 31 MPG per gallon of gas, mostly hiway/some city/town driving. Love this car!

I know a lady around here that has has her r56 since last april, and in Nov. when I talked to her last had over 40k on it.

I need to track her down and see what she is up to now.

Ding!

Picked up my R56 last April, just turned US 22,600 miles as of yesterday.

Would have had more by now but the first R56 I ordered came in with the wrong bits in late February so I had to re-order.

My '03 R53 went 133,000 miles (in 4-1/2 years) before I sold it. I'm hoping to reduce my driving some as I'd like to drive this one for awhile (unless the Clubman looks really great next week at the Auto Show in Chicago)!

No "issues" as such, though the recent weather here has turned up a throttle-body icing problem from time to time. Not a big deal, as long as the misfiring stops after I turn it off & re-start.

Wow, some of us are doing 2000 miles a month. We either like our Minis a lot, or have a long commute.

Do low mileage owners never drive their cars or is it always in the shop?
