7 months old next week. 94XX miles. Oil light flashed on the other day so I''ll see if they change it now (I never got around to changing it myself even though many of you all suggested I should). So far no major issues. Getting ctr armrest replaced tomorrow due to a broken clip that keeps it from staying shut. Also having them fix my cig lighter so I can charge my gps again. Also having them look at passenger seat that doesn't stay put when I slide it to the front. Also having them look into this humming noise that I occasionally hear. Other than that nothing major ...lol. Btw, I only get about 25 mpg city and thats with pretty conservative (very occasionally spirited) driving. I'm not too happy about that. MCSa. Oh and yeah - I just picked up my baby from being painted and I'll post pics tomorrow in the daylight .

3 months and at 2850 mi. and relieved to say no problems yet! I owned an '04 R50, so I tend to worry how my R56S will do. Can't wait for spring/summer though.

Got mine in Aug and have ~9500 miles on it. Only problems I've had is that I constantly have to fill it up and it keeps getting dirty! Can anyone explain why the Boot area gets so darn dirty?

I picked up my 08 MCS on friday feb 1. She had 2 miles on the odometer. Its been 9 days and she has 1600 miles. i love to drive and my commute is 700 miles per week. I been averaging about 310 miles before the gas light comes on. Lets hope the mileage gets a little better.

Congrats on your purchase. That's a long commute. FYI, I fuel up at 700km's or about 430 miles/tank. And yes, it's an MCS too.

I was driving at the rate of 2000+ miles a month when I first got mine. My commute? Oh, about 10 feet.

I'm at 16,000 at 12 months.

It's the aerodynamics. Lots of hatchbacks have this problem.

dirt

If it were not for the front gap in the spoiler that pushes the air down the back it'd probably be dirtier. The dirt comes from the swirling air eddies coming around the sides of the car.
daffodildeb: "aerodynamics"
Yeah, that's it.

Took my first road trip in my '07 MCS yesterday on a job interview run from NW CT to Concord, NH and back. Fantastic, what an absolute joy. I was giddy at the interview ... and they had no idea why.

"Sorry that you have a 4-hour trip home..."

"I'm not!"

3 months, 2100 miles....

7 months 10 days --- 20,500 miles.
But I was off the road recovering from a heart attack for almost 3 months.
I'll do better next year.

11 months. 6791 miles. I was off the road for 6 weeks recovering from a heart atack/bypass surgery, but I doubt that had much impact on my miles.

11 months old and just turned 16,000 miles. No issues, except for the damage from the tough Chicago roads. In less than a year, I have had the follow "incidents"
* Bent right front rim and damaged tire - pot hole
* Cracked wind shield - Rock from dump truck
* Dent on roof in front of windshield - Bigger rock from dump truck

I am happy to say the damage has all be fixed, for now......

Hopefully, the MINI will last at least 200,000 with good care.

I hope you've stopped driving behind dump trucks.

LynnEl. you are yet another person who has falling for the HD radio scam. doesn't matter how you receive HD radio...there is no such thing as any type of Hi-def audio. I'm going to school for Video and Audio Production, and the first day of my first Audio Recording class I asked what HD sound is, it's just a different format...the same format that you would get by taking a cd and throwing it in your CD player...

HD radio came with my car; I wouldn't pay for it again if I had a choice. Not all the stations broadcast with equal quality....

How'd this come up on a mileage thread?

Mine's 6 months 13 days old with 4,962 miles on it. It would probably have more but the dealer had my car for a month trying to figure out the TPMS issue. Glad that's over with . Also, mine doesn't see bad weather at all. It's only been in the rain twice. I drive my truck on bad weather days
