Cincy MINI Rocks!

Had our MC in to the selling dealer Cincinnati MINI yesterday for the check engine light problem. They updated the computer under a service bulletin. While waiting they gave us an 07 BMW X3 to drive (they are also a BMW Dealer) and we went shopping/eating. Upon return they had thoroughly cleaned the MINI inside and out. They also told us that they had started a free valet program where they will pickup the MINI at our home (leaving a loaner) and will return it in a day or two when the service is completed. We live 170 miles from the dealer and they said distance doesn't matter -- they go to Louisville, West Virginia or wherever they have sold a car. Talk about a wow factor!

lucky, they keep giving me stupid enterprise midsize cars. It be best, and probably cheaper, if it just never had to go to the dealer except for service. Sometimes I think BMW wasn't thinking that way.

I bought mine at Cincy Mini too - and I live in WV. I agree - they're great!

If you bought it there? Maybe -- but probably not!

They originally told me I would get an Enterprise POS (my words not their's) but when I arrived they had several Bimmers out in their rental area. The service rep started to hand me the keys to a 325i, but when he realized I had driven 170 miles gave me the X3. He probably thought he was doing me a favor with a more expensive loaner. What he didn't know is that I have an '06 X3 at home, identically equipped, so I would rather have had the 325i as something different. Beggars can't be choosers!

They keep pushing their valet service when I call them, and I keep trying to explain that every extra trip I have to make through the parts/accessories section is to their distinct advantage ($$$).

Cincy MINI DOES Rock!!

I also purchased my MINI at Cincy MINI!

They were awesome!! Totally low-stress purchasing experience (unlike past experiences which I'd compare to getting a root canal).

I ran into my salesperson at the grocery store a week after getting my MINI. She asked how I liked it and told her I was in heaven!! Except, I told her, for how dirty the car had gotten in just a week (snow, salt, etc.). She offered to have it washed/cleaned at the dealership and told me to bring the car by anytime!.

Never took them up on the offer, but it was a very nice gesture on their behalf.

Would recommend them to anyone in the vicinity interested in buying a MINI!!

+1 to a completely no stress buying experience. They didn't even balk or try to give me the hard sell when I thanked then for, but ultimately declined, their slightly lower financing rate than I'd already secured from my credit union. (Of course with all of the options I ended up with there wasn't a whole lot else to sell me on.)

I totally agree with everyone here. Had we still be living in Cincinnati when I bought my Mini, wouild have definitly bought there. There service when I was looking at buying a Mini was the best I had ever experienced.

That's pretty cool. I live in Lexington (80 miles away) and the distance has been a very real concern.

As others were saying, the MA there seem really quite nice with no high pressure sales tactics... Just occasional calls, once every couple of months to see where I am.

That's something else I need to mention -- they not only cleaned the car inside and out but I mean they CLEANED IT! It looked almost like it was detailed. Got the brake dust off the wheels, scrubbed the rubber mats and even found a photo exposure meter case I had lost some time ago. I drove it home and put it in the garage -- looks to clean to bring out except on nice days.
