Flat Black Paint Job

I just saw a mini the other day with a matte black finish. Looked siiiiick. I have only seen a few carrera's with this finish prior. Anyone know how much this costs? and how hard it is to maintain?

The one you're probably talking about was a guy on NAM (phantasms I think?), and his is actually a flat black vinyl wrap. Set him back $1500 I think he said. Looks awesome, but would probably cost more like $3000 to $4000 to have it painted flat black and done right.

Here's a pic of his car...

You could spray on some Rhino Liner; all you'd need is ArmorAll to spruce it up on Sundays...

I still say go with the rubberized undercoating. Still get the dull look, plus added protection from debris.

I was wondering about that. Didn't know it was a wrap.

That would look better without the decal.

The matte black looks really nice on the Mini. Just give me a reason and I will paint it that way too.
