Piano Black Dash Panels

I want to replace my standard MCS silver checkerd dash with the Piano Black. Does anyone know where I can get the Piano Black Dash Panels besides the MINI dealerships...I checked today and they want 200 BUCKS EACH. Thats kinda expensive....any Ideas?

Have you tried Classic MINI? I know it's another dealership, but they offer 20% off to NAM members.

if they're easily removed you could consider having them painted at a body shop instead, that's what I did with my gen. 1 dash panels; it looks great and cost me less than $200 in total...

Also Morristown MINI. They mark down just about every part and accessory.

One word of caution about Piano Black

They show every fingerprint. I won't even touch mine without a cloth in my hand, or if I have long sleeves, cover my hand with a sleeve. I'm not exaggerating either.

Totally. Every speck of dust commands A LOT of attention with Piano Black. Then, there are the swirl marks...

I want to change my PB trim out at some point - too high maintenance!

Everyone says this, but I have no problems with either dust or fingerprints on my PB trim... Then again I'm OCD and detail my MINI, inside and out, twice a week. I'm ridiculously high maintenance so I doubt my MINI could possibly be any more so!

On the other hand, if you're the type of person who wants the lowest maintenance interior possible, either because you don't clean often or because of who/what you transport, I'd take heed. Same for the cream color line and carbon lounge leather. Also, not from personal experience, the tuscan beige interior. It's just me most of time in my MINI, so there's no problem.

Best of luck
