Just ordered the matching black w/white pin boot stripes to match the bonnet stripes on my MY/B. Anyone familiar with the typical shipping times on these? The order and site states that they take 2-4 weeks, and ship as soon as they are printed/ready via Priority Mail. Seems like a long time for something so common. Perhaps they will arrive faster as they may have some made-up and ready to ship. I am just wondering what other folks have experienced. Thanks for any replies.

Those are pre-made and ready to ship, as you noted. Expect them in about 5 days from date of delivery, based on my experiences with AC.

Custom-made orders... anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 and a half months, also based on my experiences with AC.

 

I ordered those exact boot stripes (along with an Actual Size sticker ) to match the front bonnet stripes on my PW/B November 23rd. The order didn't go in until the 26th because I ordered after 11pm and it was a Friday. They shipped via USPS from Phoenix, Arizona on December 1st and I received them December 4th; pretty impressive. Especially with my being in PA and having opted for the standard 10 buck shipping. They quoted me 2-4 weeks as well so I'm pretty sure that's just them being conservative in case they don't have any ready to ship.

Now just to get them installed. Definitely don't trust myself to do it so I'll most likely go to a local tint shop this weekend.

 

If you're wondering about process or order status, just fire off an email to Mike or Hannah and ask. In my own experience they've always been very responsive, willing, and patient -- very customer-focused.

Added complexity of custom orders should have an expectation of a more complicated set-up and thus more time between initial order and shipment. More time to anticipate the thrill of your fancy new stripes.

Ever since seeing that sticker I just had to have it - and this was before even getting my MINI!!! It's just the funniest thing to me. Especially every time I look at my MINI it really does not seem drawn to scale; like a minature model of a 'real car'. I love it

But you should have your stripes by late next week, if not then the week after that for sure.

 

I also have that sticker and think it is quite amusing for the same reason. The ironic part is, the MINI is actually scaled up from a Mini.
