R56 Solutions for R56 rear looks
I used what I had sitting in the shop, a can of flat black Krylon, for the control arms. For the muffler, I went to the local discount store and bought a can of 1200 degree flat black paint found in the automotive section...

Here is a diffuser made by Hamann that will lower the rear clearance a little. Kind of pricey for me, but I like the looks better than the JCW kit.

Didn't find any stateside distributors that have the 2007 parts yet. I'm sure they will get there soon though.

The Hamman one shown must have been painted to match the white wheel arch so it stands to reason that it could be painted to match the stock color. Another option would be AC Schnitzer

I saw the blue car at a dealership a couple months ago, very sharp looking, but not extreme styling. Cotact the USA Schnitzer dealers listed on the dealer page and see if they come in the stock black colors.
Too bad the Hamman line is only distributed in canada now.

I posted these pics in another thread but I though I should post them here where they belong. I didnt trust myself with a can of spraypaint under the car so I bought a half pint of rustoleum flat black and a $.63 brush and went to town. It took only 15 minutes and cost less than 5 dollars, I didn't even have to jack the car up there is plenty of room under there

perhaps I should paint the remainder of the silver colored parts back there... gotta save some for another day

Good job, zach999. I can't really tell from the pics - did you only paint the control arms???
