Will Golf Clubs fit in the back of my MINI?

Or will I have to take the hubby's behemoth to go golfing?

With the back seats down, no problem! You'll be impressed with the capacity that way. Do a search too, this particular issue has come up before.

Maybe MINI will sell a set of callapsable golf clubs. With stupid sayings on them, like their umbrella.

Try going to Cosco for the monthly supply.... it is amazing what you can fit in it.

I am sure they will all fit, even the special one you use for the "thru the windmill" shot.

Yeah - I do that too. I will assume, though, that large grocery shopping will be a thing of the past. I don't need items stuffed under my armpit while I am trying to drive!

We are a family of 6 and always do large grocery shopping with the MINI. It's no problem at all, with the rear seats folded.

With the seats down and the front seat pushed forward, I can even fit a road bike in my mini (with the front wheel off). So golf clubs should be no problem.

I officially dare you to go to Costco and buy more than you can fit in the back with the seats down Unless you decide you need to pick up that 42" Plasma TV. But food and paper towels, no problem!
At the worst, you might need to do some arranging and not use those cardboard boxes.

Yes they will fit but you will need to remove the woods from the bag. Even with the seats down I can't quite get my titliest carry bag in with the woods still in the bag.

I fit more stuff from Costco in my Mini than my wife did in her BMW 325.
(I did party shopping for 80... plates, cups, food, drinks, oh, and had space left over for the keg from the local brewery).

I've also fit 27 boxwoods (and 2 bags of Hummis, and a bag of topsoil)
and no, nothing was on the roof or tucked under my arm... I could see out the back and shift, thank you.

Really? I fit my clubs in with the seats down and the clubs across right behind the front seats, R5 driver and all. Leaves a lot of room for the rest of my luggage. I do suggest wrapping a towel between your irons if you are traveling a long distance otherwise the constant rattling will drive you crazy

I can put 2 golf bags in my cabrio with rear seats folded down. and CHKMINI is right, muffle your irons with a towel as they will rattle up a storm.

Isn't that what the cart is for? Just use your rear wing as a hitch and tow them.......LOL

I do that too. Actually I only drop one seat normally and lay the bag north-south with the woods lying on top or east-west depending on how I feel. I was commenting more on the fact that it's hard to get the clubs in lying east-west behind the front seats with the woods still in the bag.

My wife golfs weekly on a league. She tosses them in the back of her R56, no problem.

LOL!!

Funny you say that, I just came back from lunch where I went to Wal-mart and Costco. Got LOTS of "monthly" type stuff in the boot right now.

two sets no problem

Two sets, both seats down no problem. Incl push carts as well. Road bike with two sets of wheels and a trainer, no problem.

I would leave a blanket in the back to keep the clubs from banging on the sides...I've already got lots of little nicks.

I carry 2 clubs at all times ( for random driving range fun), the pitching wedge fits fine, but the 4 iron is to long to lay across the back so it is wedged in there
