R56 2007 Warranty ??
2007 Warranty ??
Looking at placing an order in a few weeks. For those of you that have the 07's - anything in the small print that is good to know "before" I make my decession - and is there an Extended Warr or is one needed??
I was offered an extended warranty by through a different company. No BMW extended warranty was offered.
The only thing I'm aware of that you should know is that the onboard computer records your max rpm, and other things. So, stick to the below 4,500 rpm and < 95 mph during the first 1,200 miles.

oops!
Just talked to Sac. Ca Mini dealer - they said something about a Mini warranty of 6yr/100,000 miles being offered in the last 45 days or so?? just like the 3yr/36K warranty - in the $2K area??? anyone heard this??
Have seen buyers getting the 6yr/100k warranty for prices between $1,600 - $2,000......not sure what the 45 days is that you mention.
Ah.....I started looking at Mini's about 3 months ago and knew about it then, so not sure how long it has actually been available.

don't remember the exact price, but it was under $2000 though.
some might think the extended warrenties are a waste of $. it's going to be nice knowing if anything goes wrong within 6 yr/75,000 miles i won't have to pay anything for it.

I agree and with local Dealer (todays prices) is charging $160 an hour for labor - it would not take much to cover that cost for a problem during those last two years - I can only imagine what labor cost will be 4 years from now - And if the car is sold - the warr can be transfered - great selling feature...
My dealer quoted 6yr/100,000 miles - either way, if a owner is planning on high milage then maybe then year 5 & 6 would be past the milage limit and therefore a waste of $$$$
