What is interesting that I am starting to see electronics being mfg here in the US again.... I have a customer who needs about 16,000 units a year of a particular piece and they figure with the time lag and shipping they are better off here in the US.... this is good because up until recently this would go "off shore"

Nor does it change the fact you made an insensitive reference the first time and somehow felt the need to repeat it.

And, you're correct. With 42 posts per day since the end of February, you certainly don't need to pad your posts. (Shame on you ScottinBend [ ] ). But good gawd, man, when do you have time to actually drive your car?

You are correct, And when rotating weight is being "spun up" at a very quick rate it will keep increasing in speed until the energy in its rotating mass is used up, What do you think the flywheel is for? When you step down quickly "not slowly" on the accelerator pedal and the tach needle passes the red line it is caused by the rotating weight and inertia, The needle does not just stop at the rev limiter cut off.

That's the way I took it. I enjoyed your post. I should have added a laughing face, when I said shame on you. A little late, but here it is.

are you saying that if you remove the force that is causing acceleration to a mass that the mass will continue to accelerate for a short time?

I'm sorry. I don't believe that.

I think some guy wrote a law about bodies in motion and external forces or something that may have a play in this. ( not that it was a particularly smart guy >g<)

Sowellman, if you had read the full posts of the day, you would have known from whence my "ricer" remark came. So, get the whole story before you give me crap. Fact, is, others were talking down about "ricers" that day and my post was meant to get back at them somewhat. But, I will have more time to drive in the future 'cause I've about had my fill of people without finding out what is going on first, giving me crap.
