Has anyone seen a black roofed mini with white mirror caps? I was thinking about putting some on but wondered if that totally looks wrong. What do you guys thinkg?

BTW it would be on a LaB/B mini.

 

Yes! A friend has that combo on his 03' EB MINI. I think his looks good.

The great thing about Mini's is they're totally unique. So be unique! See if the dealer will let you "try them on" to see how they look. If you like it then nothing else matters!

 

I was able to photochop my car with white mirror caps for kicks and it looks pretty sweet. I'll post my chops after work.

If you don't like the color you can always paint them. Get a spare pair of caps and change the color every season. These cars are more than just transportation, express your style and have fun.

I was actually thinking about doing the opposite for my car. White roof, black mirror caps - just like the Italian Job MINIs. Has anyone on here done that? Pics would be nice!

 

MINI offered checkered mirror caps for the First Generation MINI. They also offer it for the R56. As well as Chrome, and Union Jack, for all cars. As well as black for Black roofs and white for white roofs.

I am sure that any dealer or even certain aftermarket vendors could get you the Chrome, Union Jack, Checkered or even Black or White Mirror caps, I bet they could even get them painted to match any body color ever offered!
