O.K. TO LET THE MINI SIT A WEEK?

Picked her up on Aug 1, and drove 400 mi. detailed her, and am having Clear Bra installed on Friday. Is it O.K. to let her sit until then all clean and covered? Took her out for a short spin on Monday.

Mine sat for over a month while I recovered from a medical screw-up.

It started up without problem. The brake disks were rusty (gardener had been watering them ) but they cleaned up with a short drive.

my brake disks get rust after a car wash, aggressive braking will "burn" it off.

It will be harder on you than it will be on your MINI.

Your MINI will be fine - however - you might not be...

Yes a week if fine, even an extended storage. If you let it sit for months on end, send it my way. I will drive it for you.

Not a good idea. If you start a car--run it up to full operating temps. if not, best to leave it sit.
