Winston's his name...
and motoring's his game! We were scootin' around all day today (hence the pics), and my little guy informed me that his name is Winston. I'm guessing as in Churchill, but we didn't get that far into the convo.
I think it suits him. He's short, stocky, and bald (at least he looks bald to me, must be the white roof!) just like the former Prime Minister. He's cute and cuddly (you know how they say all babies look like Winston Churchill), but he's also a total bada$$. And of course, he's British!
So anyway, his name is Winston, and here are some pics from our travels today. Enjoy!

WOOT! Oh yeah, that is one SWEET MCS!
Boy, I do like that interior... Very, very, nice! It really is striking.
Nice name Winston... Very English.
So when did he tell you his name?
Looks like you and Winston have been doing a bit of motoring. I see a beautiful relationship forming, ahead lie many shared miles and smiles!
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing pics with your NAMily!

Congrats fellow Wk 27/28er! I think you win the prize for the most anxious of the bunch in Wk 27. Now as for Wk 28, it is a tough competitition between Bluturtle, Isamini, and ahalibut!
I think ahalibut wins after this gut-busting post:

All in good fun! I am glad to see someone as excited as me. However, I started feeling bad for putting over 500 mi on her within 4 days so she is parked for a bit. Too hot for the little baby anyway (hitting 101 tomorrow).
I will post pics of my Wk 27 baby as well. Waiting for the proper time. A name, a nice Easter dress (aka mods), etc.
Enjoy!

Wow, that's pretty close to what I ordered. Though I went with with sport stripes and the hyper aero kit. I originally had the red seats to go with the door and dash like yours, but when I saw it on the configurator, I thought it looked gaudy. But from your picks, man, I'm rethinking, it looks kinda sharp. Nice ride.

I had the same concerns, but there is enough black and silver in there to keep the red from looking too gaudy! I absolutely LOVE my interior. Plus the cloth in the middle of the seats has this snazzy pinstriping. VERY smooth!

Congratulations. I have also taken delivery of a new Mini Cooper S from Sandia Mini this month (one week ago to be exact) and am extremely excited about the car - more excited than with any other car I've purchased. Unlike yourself, however, my car had nothing at all to say to me, so I have settled on calling him Nigel... I hope he likes it.

Nigel is a great name! It doesn't matter that he didn't pick it himself. Mine didn't really either (I'm not THAT crazy ). Are you a member of any local clubs?

I must admit that I was a little concerned that "Winston" identified himself to you... maybe a little jealous too (I was a big fan of Knight Rider when I was younger). I am not a member of any local auto clubs at this point. I am definitely interested - not really sure what these "clubs" actually do (mutual car washing, tire changing, etc.?) but I would like some information if anyone has some.
