Details:
Starting point will be the parking lot of Creekside Lanes located across the street from Flow MINI, behind McDonalds...... To get there, take exit 192 (Peters Creek Parkway) off I-40. At the stoplight take a right. The McDonald's will be on the right at the next light.
Starting time will be 12 noon.
Ran the route yesterday. Starting off near Flow MINI, it's a circuit running around the north side of W-S. We'll have stops at Hanging Rock State Park and Sport Auto in Summerfield. The run will end in Kernersville for meal at Ham's Restaurant. The entire ride is about 130 miles of mixed country roads and twisties. There's a little in town driving right before we get to the restaurant.
There'll be a pit stop (about 15 min) at a gas station about halfway between the starting point and Hanging Rock. We'll stay at the park 30 to 45 minutes to wander around and stretch out a little. There are picnic areas there, if you want to pack a meal and eat outdoors (myself, I'll wait until we hit Ham's). Sport Auto is always an interesting to visit. The other day when I stopped, the least expensive car I saw on the premises was selling for $94,000. The length of the stop there will depend on the group. I don't anticipate it being longer than 30 minutes though.

I've started an informal RSVP list in the first post of this thread. You don't need to RSVP in order to attend, but I'd like to try to get some kind of head count.
Thanks Mininc and Audioman for responding. I've added you both to the list.
Kicksnake, sorry you don't think you'll be able to join us. If it works out otherwise, the more the merrier!
While this is a M2C2 sponsored event, you need not be a member to attend. This drive is open to everyone.

Charlotte Chapter to Winston Salem
I will be glad to lead the caravan from Charlotte to Winston Salem for the drive.
I thought we could meet at Jitterz Coffee House off of I-485 and Rocky River Road (exit 36) at 9:30am on Saturday the 27th. Jitterz is a great place to get a cup of coffee and is located in the new Brookdale shopping center with the Harris Teeter in it.

If we leave by 10:00am that should put us at our meeting point in WS by 11:30am. There is a Mickey D's that we could grab a quick lunch at and be ready to leave by noon for the drive.
Thanks
George

So, as noted in the other thread, please count me 'IN' with the new droptop.
Funny note George. The Wachovia branch in that new shopping center is where I completed the sale of the '04 MCS PW/B on Saturday... It was the last place I saw 'my old car'

George,
You know I would be there if I could but...you know where I have to be every Saturday. I know somehow I'll be able to find a way out of it. In the meanwhile I'll will be riding with you guys in spirit. I truly enoyed the run down to the Beacon!

2) There'll be new faces there you haven't met yet.
3) You want to show your support for the club.
4) You want to make a comparison how the car drives at different altitudes.
5) You want to see what you could have bought for 6 times the cost of the MINI.
6) It'll void the warranty if you miss a motoring opportunity.
Feel free to use any of the above. Just remember, they're more convincing if you can keep a straight face while you're doing it!
In the meantime, I'll add you to the list. Hope to see you there!
